2019 Wisconsin Missing Persons Remembrance Ceremony

Who: Open to the Public

What: Annual Ceremony to Remember all Missing Persons in Wisconsin

When: Thursday, May 23, 2019 | 12:00pm

Where: State Capitol Rotunda | 2 E. Main Street, Madison, WI

Why: On any given day, between 20 and 30 missing person reports are filed with law enforcement around the state of Wisconsin. Fortunately, most of those cases are resolved within a day or two. Some cases, though, remain open for weeks, months, years, or even decades, prompting thousands of hours of investigation and ongoing heartache for family members who are missing their loved ones and searching for answers. This ceremony remembers all people who are still missing from around the state of Wisconsin and helps increase public awareness about missing persons cases.
